A fair go for the far south.
That's it. That's all we're after. We're a community group standing up for Tasmania's Far South. Just some locals who think things can be better. We're determined that the Far South should get it's fair share of investment and support from all levels of Government that also protects and nurtures our special way of life down here. We don't accept being sidelined in discussions and decisions about our home. So if you live anywhere from Geeveston to Cockle Creek then we're for you!
What we do
We organise, advocate, and show up. Fair Go for the Far South brings together locals who want to see positive change, and sometimes no change, be consulted — listened to and valued, not just lip service.
We make noise when it matters.
Why it matters
The far south has been overlooked for too long. That changes when we organise.
Too many decisions about our region get made by people who don't live here. Services get cut. Infrastructure gets delayed. Voices get ignored. We're here to change that — not by waiting for permission, but by building the kind of community power that can't be ignored.
